Happy 1st Birthday Baby Abby!

Our neighbor, Baby Abby, had her 1st Birthday last week! We went over to her house for a small party with lots of pizza, cookies and fun!!
Here is the Birthday Girl waiting for her lunch.

Rhett riding his "hog"!
He wants so badly to ride Jenna's Tricycle, but he's just not quite ready, yet...
Doing a little swinging
And some sliding

And now, some eating!
Abby's big sister Jenna, and our friends Turner and Zanna
Mmmm, good cookies!!!

Grant really enjoyed playing some basketball, I was impressed with how well he did!
Rhett tried to join in the fun too...
Baby Abby opening her gift from the boys. They love their Little People, so they thought Abby would enjoy them too!
We hope you had a great 1st Birthday Abby and we are so happy to have you as our friend and neighbor!

Grandad in the Park

First of all, I have tried to post these pictures for 3 days and the website wouldn't let me. I'm sure it has something to do with user error, but I like to think it's because this website is stupid!

My parents were in town last weekend for a close family friend's wedding. Friday was such a beautiful day and we knew Saturday was going to be very ugly, so my dad, the boys and I ventured out to the park.

Rhett showed Grandad what a pro he is at swinging and climbing
Then he talked him into going down the slide with him...
(I'm sure he didn't want Grandad to be scared of the enclosed slide :)
Grant on the other hand thought it was best if he just showed Grandad how to do it!
Looks like he catches on well, don't you think!

Both boys got a kick out of "telling" Grandad where to go
Just a Swingin'
Swingin'
And finally a group swing before we left!

I'll Tumble For Ya!

The boys have been taking a gym class for the past few months and they LOVE it!!!
Here we are getting warmed up with some stretches and songs.

Grant showing off his front roll skills

Rhett jumping off the balance beam, he is not afraid!
Grant trying to walk on the beam, he hates that he has to hold his arms out. He would rather be hanging on to his teachers neck!

Crawling through the barrel, this is part of the obstacle course, which is their favorite!
Climbing the mountain all by himself, he really does have great balance...
Grant taking his turn through the barrel.
We start up again next week, I'm sure if the boys had any concept of time, they would be pumped to know that it is coming up soon!

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Our Daddy turned 32 yesterday! We are so lucky to have such a great Dad, we love him so much! We went out for a Birthday Lunch at Daddy's favorite burger place (at least around here) Johnny B's, it was mmm, mmm. Good!

After we woke up from our naps we went over to Gaga & Papa's house for dinner. Here we are with our cousin Grayson eating some oranges before dinner because we had to let the lasagna cool off. For those of you who don't know, our Daddy LOVES lasagna, especially Gaga's!
Grant Man enjoyed his dinner very much!
Rhett is helping set up the party by passing out the plates
Daddy holding his cake that Mommy made for him. She gave it a good effort, but she might need to practice on her cake decorating skills! (fortunately it tasted pretty good and we each ate a whole piece!)

Everyone singing "Happy Birthday"
We Love You Daddy, hope you had a wonderful Birthday!!!
