A Very Merry UN-Birthday!

At the end of May, the boys celebrated their UnBirthday at School!

When I asked what they wanted to take for their snack/treat, both said: Cherry Donuts with sprinkles! So... the teacher in me decided that I would bring the book If You Give A Dog a Donut, because in the book, the dog eats a donut with apple juice!

Mother's Day Tea

The boys' school had a Mother's Day Tea in May. It was so much fun, and they worked so hard on all the adorable gifts!

(For the life of me I can't get this invitation to rotate)

 Our neighbor and good friend, Nathaniel was one of my boys that day too!

His mom had to be out of town unexpectedly, so I got 3 boys that day!

Pirate Breakfast

On one Saturday in April, we enjoyed a fun Pirate Breakfast.

The boys were Very excited to go and dress up like Pirates!

 There was a skit that included Captain Hook, Mr. Smee, Tinkerbell & Periwinkle.

To be honest, the skit was a little odd, but...

 The boys thought it was hilarious!

 There was Face Painting

 And games

 And a scavenger hunt!

 As we were leaving, we ran into "Captain Hook". 

The boys informed us and him that he was not the real Captain Hook, because he didn't have a red jacket and hat. I'm not sure what he thought about that information!

We had a really fun morning, Argh!!

Easter

On Saturday, we went over to Pampa for an Easter lunch and some egg hunting!

The boys have their eyes closed and are ready to go!

 GiGi put together a special pool full of eggs! The boys had to dig,

 and dig,

 and dig,

 to find the prize eggs!

 Back inside, counting their loot!

(See, it "pays" to hunt eggs in this family. After all, candy just rots your teeth!)

 Easter morning, the boys woke to find treats from the Easter Bunny!

 Grant insisted on putting on his new Iron Man P.J.'s

 Unfortunately, Grant had been sick the night before and running a fever most of the day. We didn't get to go to church. But later that evening his fever finally broke and he said he was feeling well enough to do a small egg hunt outside :)

 And as always, we ended our day with a fun confetti egg "fight"!
