We Give Thanks

Our Thanksgiving Celebration began the weekend before Thanksgiving. We flew to Pampa to spend some time with my family. Unfortunately, we did not get to spend as much time with them as I would have liked. Both boys were pretty sick with what the doctor called a "bug". They were running fevers, tired and just all around miserable. We ended up coming home earlier than planned and we didn't get to enjoy one of the family meals because we had to take the boys back to my parents. I did feel so bad for them, they were very pitiful. I did manage to get a few pictures of the flight to Pampa.

Notice the "Flight Suits"!!!

Opening an early Christmas Present from some family friends. I think they were just as impressed with the giant boxes as they were with the actual gift!
Yea! A table for inside... they love sitting here. Who would have thought a table could be so much fun!
Thanksgiving Day
Gaga & Papa's House
Gaga is sharing her ice, both boys think this is just hilarious!
I Love, Love, Love this picture of Grant!!! He has the best laugh in the world.
(sorry for my fat face...)
Rhett loving on Daddy
What could be better than ending the day with a little Charlie Brown Thanksgiving!

Every year I'm amazed at the blessings God has given me. A wonderful husband, who is always so supportive, loving and helpful. Two beautiful baby boys that I love more than I could even say! Parents, my sister and my In-Laws are always there when we need them, willing to help in any way. I'm not sure what I did to deserve all of this, but I know for sure that I am truly Thankful.

Let's Pretend

So everyone knows that the boys LOVE to be outside! Our very sweet neighbors, who have twins themselves, gave us the little picnic table. Ever since we have had it (a week) they have been playing with it everyday. A couple of days ago, they were picking up rocks and sticks and taking them to the table and pretending to eat them! That's when I decided it was time for some "play" food! They think this is fabulous, it keeps them occupied for several minutes at a time!

At the Zoo!

We took the boys to the Zoo for the first time today! They had a great time, even though some of the pictures do not appear so...
Honestly, I don't blame Grant for being unhappy about standing in front of the GIANT Gorilla. For those of you who don't know, I HATE monkeys or I guess I should broaden that to say ALL primates. I was attacked by a spider monkey when I was younger (around 4th grade) and it scarred me for life! Those little devils are just not right...
The little birdies were the boys favorite part! You can buy little sticks of food and the birds fly around and land on your stick or hand, what ever they feel like! Both boys thought this was hilarious!
Rhett was trying really hard to give the little bird a kiss!
This picture cracks me up because you can see Rhett in the background planning his attack on those birds sitting on the ledge. This child is afraid of NOTHING!!!

Grant finally got a birdie to land on his stick of food!
Watching the Penguins swim

Riding the Carousel, Grant loved it this time. He was not a fan the first time he rode one a few months ago.
Even though Rhett looks like he is being forced to sit here, he had a great time and kept jumping up and down on his horse to try and make it go faster!

Nearing the end of our day and Everyone was very tired and becoming very cranky
Everything is better now! They got to choose a souvenir to take home with them so they put their money together and picked the giant penguin! (Daddy may have had some influence!!)
Going home, they thought it was very funny to have the penguin in the seat with them.
All in all it was a great day and I'm sure we will be back very soon!

It's the Great Pumpkin Rhett & Grant!

The boys woke up Halloween morning to find their treats that the "Great Pumpkin" had left them! They were so excited...

Playing with the silly string or I guess I should say Daddy was playing with the silly string!
All ready to head out for some trick or treating. You will notice that Rhett was not interested in wearing his head piece at all!
My Sweet Little Turtle Man

Our nephew Grayson came over to go trick or treating with the boys, I think they all had a great time
Who knew turtles could fly???
Rhett was all about pushing the wagon, plus everyone elses in the neighborhood!
Halloween 2008
Halloween 2009

They absolutely loved getting to walk around and get candy. Even though they had no idea what was going on! I think they just thought they were very big!

Grant still loves to pose for the camera!

We hope everyone had a fun Halloween! As you can see the boys were not "ROBBED"!!! (I am a very loyal and dedicated viewer of the Charlie Brown cartoons, if you don't get the above statement, you should tune in next year to The Great Pumpkin!)
