Wednesday morning, we were up Very early! DCA opened at 7:00 am and we wanted to be there to beat the crowds! Our first stop was Cars Land!
Disney did a great job with this area. You really feel like you are in the movie and the boys thought it was the coolest thing!
Our first ride was the Radiator Springs Racers.
They were so fun!!
The ride takes you through town to get ready to "race". Then you meet up with another car and off you go!
A little nod to Amarillo!
I'm sure most people don't know about Cadillac Ranch :)
Then we went right over to Luigi's Tire Shop and rode the "floating" tires.
On our way to ride Mater's Jamboree, we ran into Mater at the Cozy Cone Motel!
We had timed it just right because as Mater left, Lightening McQueen pulled in!
We finally made it to Mater's Jamboree, the boys Loved this ride!
Because the lines were so short, we got to ride this twice without even leaving!
Hanging out with Red the Firetruck.
Standing under the stop light, Grant really wanted his picture under the stop light!
After Cars Land, we walked over to Bug Land and rode in several bugs!
Ladybug Ride
The Little Mermaid Ride
As we went into each scene, I was singing along with the songs. Grant asked me: "How do you know all these songs??" I guess we need to watch more movies :)
Paradise Pier
Toy Story Mania Ride
It was in 3D and more shooting!
King Triton's Carousel
Going through the ropes course, lots of brides, climbing and slides!
Even Daddy went down the slide and he had a rough landing :)
They completed the course and got to take the pledge to get a badge.
Grant really wanted a picture with this plane!
Monster's Inc. Ride
Watching Disney Jr. while waiting for the Live! Disney Jr. Show
After the Disney Jr show we felt like we had hit all the highlights of DCA.
So... we walked back over to Disneyland in hopes that Grant would be picked for the Jedi Training school!
Luckily both boys got picked for the training :)
Grant finally got his turn for some Lightsaber fighting!
He was disappointed that he didn't get Darth Vader, but overall was still very happy!
Then it was Rhett's turn, he's an old pro now!
Oh Boy, was he so excited and proud!
Showing off their Diplomas!
It was a slow day at Disneyland, so we hopped in line for Autopia and only had to wait about 5 mins!
Then we head over to the Mad Hatter to try on hats and get some Mickey Ears!
Then we went over to ride Dumbo again.
The boys spotted Casey Jr. so we had to get in line for a ride.
Then we walked over to the Inventions center and Aaron and the boys went in to look around while I sat outside with our snacks! (they don't allow food in and of course we had just bought snacks) This is the Honda Robot and I hear he was very cool!
They also had Iron Man suits from the movie, this excited all of my boys!
We then walked back over to DCA to get ready for the Pixar Parade.
We finally ran into Goofy and the boys thought he was extra goofy!
Waiting for the parade to start!
The parade was great! The floats and performers were fantastic!
Mater was the end of the parade and then we headed to a pizza place for dinner.
After dinner, we were all super tired and cold. We had been up since 6 am and it was now after 7 pm. The boys had been going strong for 3 days and were just worn out! So we decided to call it a day and headed back to the hotel. As we were walking through Downtown Disney, Rhett asked if he could go into the Lego store to build something. I stayed with him and Daddy took Grant back to the hotel. I was watching Rhett build and then I noticed his hat was very crooked and it cracked me up because I think he was so tired that he didn't care!
All of that fun makes for a VERY long day!
